K-9 Card Initiative

WPSF is excited to announce the K-9 trading card initiative launching in partnership with the Winchester Police Department.  While the K9 Unit team card has already been released, we're actively recruiting sponsors for individual canine cards for each of our five canines.

The purpose of this initiative is two-fold: 1) to foster and strengthen community relationships between WPD officers and the public, and 2) to raise much-needed funds for WPD's K-9 program.

Each card will feature a full-color photograph of one of our five Winchester Police Department canines, along with the dog’s name, bio and specialty, and a short safety or character message.

• Sponsorship will enable your organization’s logo to be prominently displayed on the back of all the cards of one of the five K-9s distributed by our officers for the entire calendar year, connecting your business with a program that inspires children and supports local law enforcement.

•  Additionally, you will be provided a framed photo of the K-9 that you support with a caption expressing WPD’s appreciation for your support of that K-9 officer for the year. This photo is designed to be hung in your business, if you’d like, to show your support for the Winchester Police Department and the K-9 program in particular. 

•  Also, your name and logo will be featured on this page as one of our K-9 card sponsors for the duration of your support year. 

Your contribution will provide direct and valuable financial support to the Winchester Police Department’s K-9 program and will be recognized as a charitable 501(c)(3) donation supporting community engagement through the Winchester Police Support Fund.
